Go tiny, go small.

Calm down. Take a deep breath.

Today, take a step to begin one small habit. So small and insignificant you wouldn’t even care mentioning it to anyone.

Like sitting in a correct posture or making your bed, flossing, drinking water daily —any ‘ single tiny habit’.

If you can, stop and begin it right now.

Now every morning when you get up, gently remind yourself to not forget it.

That’s it. This is how serious self-improvement begins.

That’s really it? You may ask.

And the answer is yes, that’s all you need to begin something great.

Habits are formed gradually. If you focus on too many at once, you’ll lose.

Self-improvement can’t be forced. It needs a certain mindset — a pleasant, calm mindset — that’s not in a rush. So when you begin with tiny and small, with one habit, all you’ve to focus on is getting better at one thing. And if you do it enough times, you naturally enter the pleasant mindset of change.

The rest? Think about that later. Do one thing enough times first. Forgetting to follow the habit also isn’t a problem, just gently remind yourself and keep moving ahead.

Re-begin as many times as you have to, there are no hard rules. You know your self much better than anyone else, so trust yourself.

If you liked what you read, re-read it and teach its meaning to someone in need. Teaching ideas makes you wise and helps you remember the subject matter in depth.
